Elite Games Federation, a leading sports NGO, has also formally requested the Maharashtra government to grant the film tax-free status in the state. The NGO sent an official letter to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, talking about the socially relevant themes of the film. Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitare Zameen Par tells the story of a disgraced basketball coach who is tasked with training a team of neurodivergent individuals.

We hope the government will support this effort to increase inclusion and make a meaningful impact through cinema".
